George Trim, MD, FACOG, FACS, NCMP, is the Anti-Aging and Wellness Practice Medical Director at New Vitality Centers in Brandon, Florida. Dr. Trim supervises the Nurse Practitioner and consults the wellness and aesthetic practice, but he no longer sees patients.
Learning has always been of great importance to Dr. Trim. His education began at Juniata College Huntingdon in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Next, he attended Universidad de Santander Santander in Spain, where he studied Basic Medical Sciences and Research Assistant-Development of an Aortic Valve Prosthesis.
A few years later, he relocated to the West Indies to further his education in Clinical Sciences at Ross University, School of Medicine Dominica. Postgraduate Dr. Trim returned to the United States and fulfilled his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, as Chief Resident of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
His honors and awards include Lamagra Award for Outstanding Resident in 1988, the 2007 Excellence In Caring Recipient, Community Medical Center, and the 2008 SottoPelle® (Hormone Therapy) Star Office Award. He contributed to the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) Written Boards in 1989 and Oral Boards in 1991.
From 1991 to 2018, Dr. Trim held a board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG). In 1995 he served on the American Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy (Endoscopic Surgery).
Dr. Trim’s memberships and associations include ABOG, Diplomate American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACOG), Fellow American College of Surgeons (ACS), and Fellow North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
He is a member of the International Society for the Study of the Aging Male (ISSAM), International Menopause Society (IMS), and SottoPelle Society, among other certifications such as NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP), Cenegenics® Institute for Age Management Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Trim is certified in Mastering the Protocols of Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, Parts I, II, III, and IV.
